Artist Statement

The source of my imagery comes from observation of the natural world.

I visualize patterns that occur in a continuous rhythm and flow.

My work is a physical activity of constructing forms through a process of repetitive layers and strokes of pigment which create a dense volume and tactile surface.

I am interested in evoking a sense of the evolution of time.
